Founded by the Patel family in Dundee, we later relocated to Ladysmith, where we have continued to thrive and expand our operations.
In 1996, at the young age of 18, Aslam Patel joined the waste industry and embarked on a journey that led him to establish Why Waste. Fueled by his passion for environmental sustainability and a vision to revolutionize waste management practices, Aslam opened our doors to deliver innovative and comprehensive waste solutions that prioritize recovery and recycling.
