WHY WASTE INTEGRATED POLICY STATEMENT

Why Waste specialises in the provision of a total waste management service, including waste recovery and recycling services nationally.
We commit ourselves to the implementation and maintenance of our Integrated Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements which are reviewed annually. Why Waste strives to continually improve its environmental and quality management and, ultimately, to reduce environmental impacts and improve the quality of its operations, activities, products, and services.
This Policy Statement has been communicated and understood by all within the Organization
Our Integrated Policy is directed toward achieving the following goals and objectives:
- Develop, implement and maintain a formal Integrated Management System in order to provide a framework for continually evaluating and improving the Integrated Management System in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
- Meeting relevant legislation requirements and adherence to acceptable industrial practices and regulations.
- Regularly assessing the impact of all our current and future activities, products and services on the environment with the intention of protecting it and reducing/preventing pollution.
- Educating, training and developing our employees to achieve high standards of awareness, and competence of the Integrated Management System.
- Implementing and maintaining systems for a safe work environment for all employees by: - Continually identifying health and safety and environmental hazards. - Evaluating the impact of all hazards that are identified. - Implementing relevant mitigating actions to reduce these impacts.
- To foster good relationships with our customers by utilizing effective communication and encouraging customer feedback.
This policy is supported by measurable objectives that have been set by top management and communicated to all employees. These objectives will be monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure necessary resources are provided and to ensure objectives are achieved within the set timeframes.
THE POLICY SHALL BE:
- Available and be maintained as documented information.
- Communicated, understood and applied within the organization.
- Available to relevant interested parties, as appropriate
